Negotiation tools

I’ve been speaking at the team meeting at my office each week about great negotiation tips.  This weeks : during negotations - when one party gives a concession, the best practice is to ask for something in return.  If the buyer wants a lower price and the refrigerator, the seller says yes to the lower price and no to the refrigerator.  If seller says yes to both (thus not asking anything in return) the buyer usually continues asking for more.  The original NO creates a strong boundary and helps the transaction go more smoothly (even for the one that got the no).
